Jackknifed tractor-trailer slows traffic on I-295

MT. LAUREL, N.J. (WPVI) -- The driver of a tractor-trailer lost control and went off the road, slowing traffic on I-295 in Mount Laurel for several hours.

It happened in the southbound lanes near Exit 40 after 6:00 a.m. Wednesday.

Images from Chopper 6 HD broadcast on Action News at 6:30 a.m. showed a jackknifed FedEx truck and one lane blocked.

Two lanes of the traffic were getting by the scene as police investigated and crews worked to clear the wreckage.

There were no reports of serious injuries.
