GLADWYNE, Pa. (WPVI) -- Traffic is moving again on the eastbound Schuylkill Expressway (I-76) after overnight flooding in Montgomery County.

Police shut down one of two travel lanes on the busy highway after flooding from heavy rain led to a crash around 5 a.m. Saturday.

The lane closure between the Gladwyne and Belmont Ave. exits caused a miles-long backup.

The lane was back open by 8 a.m., but delays continued for more than an hour afterward.
