Pedestrian struck and killed by vehicle in West Mount Airy

WEST MOUNT AIRY (WPVI) -- A pedestrian was killed following a crash in Philadelphia's West Mount Airy section Friday night.

The incident occurred around 9:30 p.m. Friday on the 6100 block of Wayne Avenue near West Pastorius Street.

The victim, only described as in his 60s, was taken to Einstein Medical Center where he later died.

No charges have been filed.
