CHERRY HILL, New Jersey (WPVI) -- An accident involving a pedestrian shut down Route 38 westbound in Cherry Hill, New Jersey.

It happened around 8 a.m. Thursday between Chapel Avenue and Cuthbert Boulevard.

There is no word on the pedestrian's condition.

Route 38 reopened just before 9 a.m.

Police are continuing to investigate.
