Pickup crashes into Tioga-Nicetown barber shop

TIOGA-NICETOWN (WPVI) -- A pickup truck smashed into a barber shop in Tioga-Nicetown section of Philadelphia.

It happened around 10:30 a.m. Friday at the intersection of Hunting Park and Wissahickon.

The truck's driver somehow lost control and rammed through the front of the building, narrowly missing the people inside.

The building's owner, Chappell McDonald, rushed to the scene after hearing about what happened.

"The barber's all right, the two people standing there are all right too, so God bless for that. I think our building is ruined now so we have to put it back together," said McDonald.

There was no word on any charges in this crash.
