Pickup truck crashes into utility pole on Route 73

MAPLE SHADE TWP., N.J. (WPVI) -- A driver lost control of a pickup truck and crashed into a utility pole in Maple Shade Township, Burlington County.

It happened around 11:30 p.m. Sunday on Route 73 near Stiles Avenue.

The impact cut the utility pole in half and brought down wires.

PSE&G was called to the scene and the road was shut down to traffic.

There is no word on the condition of the driver.
