2 arrested after police chase, crash in Hockessin

HOCKESSIN, Del. (WPVI) -- We are learning more about the events leading up to a police-chase turned two-car crash in New Castle County.

Police say 30-year-old Divedra Morris and a 17-year-old boy allegedly broke into two homes in Wilmington and Hockessin on Thursday.

In the first case, a 91-year-old woman had her purse stolen. She was also roughed up.

The second homeowner was able to escape and call 911.

But when police tracked down Morris and the teenager, the duo took off and eventually crashed into another car near the intersection of Limestone and Little Baltimore Roads.

Both Morris and the juvenile are facing a number of charges including robbery and reckless endangerment.
