Police officer injured in hit-and-run crash in Kensington

KENSINGTON (WPVI) -- A Philadelphia police officer was injured after a cruiser was hit by another vehicle in the city's Kensington section.

The accident happened at a three-way intersection around 9 a.m. Saturday at F Street, Indiana and Kensington avenues.

Police say the driver in the other vehicle did not stop.

The officer suffered minor injuries and is expected to be OK.
