Rt. 55 in Gloucester County reopens after overturned truck

Rt. 55 in Gloucester County reopens after truck crash. Sarah Bloomquist reports during Action News at 12 p.m. on October 25, 2018.

An overturned truck caused traffic troubles in Gloucester County.

It happened in the northbound lanes of Rt. 55 in Elk Township just after 3 a.m. Thursday.

All lanes were closed at Exit 45, which is for Buck Road. The road was reopened just before 8 a.m.

State officials say there was a fuel spill, as well as sand, on the roadway, as well.
