Runaway garbage truck slams into 5 cars

A runaway garbage truck with no one behind the wheel smashed into at least five cars.

The video shows the crash from Friday near Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Police say the garbage truck driver stepped out of the truck to talk with a supervisor and somehow the brakes "disengaged."

The truck then rolled out of control down a hill.

You can see two Waste Management workers chase after the truck, but were nowhere close to catching it.
