Student rides Barbie jeep after DWI arrest

Photos of a 20-year-old Texas State student is going viral after what she decided to do following a DWI arrest.

Her license was suspended, but she is still getting around on four wheels.

Tara Monroe, a junior at Texas State University has been spotted around campus in a Barbie Jeep, forgoing a bicycle or public transit.

After her run-in with the law, Monroe took to Craigslist and bought the 12-volt battery car for $60.

Monroe told a Texas newspaper that this is the best way she could have gotten her 15 minutes of fame.

Monroe turns 21-years-old and can legally drink in November.
