A toll hike for two bridges in Burlington County, New Jersey has been approved.

PALYMRA, N.J. (WPVI) -- A toll hike for two bridges in Burlington County, New Jersey has been approved.

The Burlington County Bridge Commission has voted to increase fees on the Tacony-Palmyra and Burlington-Bristol bridges.

The tolls rise from $2 to $4 for drivers who pay cash.

Tolls for E-Z Pass users increases by $1.

The increases start September 15th.

Officials say they need extra revenue for improvements on both spans.
