Tractor-trailer spills sod, leaks fuel in Carneys Point, NJ

CARNEYS POINT, N.J. (WPVI) -- A tractor-trailer overturned and leaked diesel fuel onto Route 40 in Carneys Point Tuesday morning.

The big rig also spilled its load of sod.

It happened before 8:30 a.m. on the ramp from Route 40 to the New Jersey Turnpike South.

Action News is told the driver of the truck suffered minor injuries.

The crash blocked the ramp as police investigated.

Police diverted traffic to I-295 during the cleanup.
