Traffic moving on I-95 SB after multi-vehicle crash

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A multi-vehicle crash on I-95 southbound near Girard Avenue resulted in a major backup during the Tuesday morning rush hour.

The collision involved four cars. There has been no word on injuries.

Chopper 6 showed a traffic jam from Academy Road to Girard.

At one point, it took more than an hour and 20 minutes to travel from Woodhaven Road to I-676.

Emergency crews were able to remove the vehicles from the scene and traffic slowly began moving with delays.
