Trash truck overturns in Whitemarsh Township

WHITEMARSH TWP., Pa. (WPVI) -- Police are on scene of a crash involving an overturned trash truck in Whitemarsh Township, Montgomery County.

The crash happened just after 10 a.m. Tuesday on Hagys Mill Road near Johns Lane.

Officials say the driver of the truck somehow lost control, resulting in the truck flipping onto its side.

One person was reportedly injured in the crash and taken to a nearby hospital. So far, no word on that person's condition.
