Truck jackknifes on NJ Turnpike connector
Truck jackknifes on NJ Turnpike connector: Rick Williams reports during Action News at noon on June 23, 2017.

BURLINGTON, N.J. (WPVI) -- A jackknifed tractor-trailer caused delays on the New Jersey Turnpike connector in Burlington, N.J.

Chopper 6 HD was over the scene after it happened, around 6:30 a.m. Friday.

The driver of a Federal Express lost control and jackknifed on the westbound lanes of I-276 connecting the N.J. Turnpike to the Pennsylvania Turnpike via the Delaware River Bridge.

No one was hurt.

But the incident backed up rush hour traffic for about a mile as crews worked to clear the disabled truck.
