Trucks collide, slowing traffic on NB Blue Route (I-476) in Plymouth Township, Pa.

PLYMOUTH TOWNSHIP, Pa. (WPVI) -- A crash involving two trucks slowed traffic on the Blue Route (I-476) in Plymouth Township.

It happened before 7 a.m. Monday in the northbound lanes at the Chemical Road exit.

Action News is told a trash truck and a box truck collided, blocking the two right lanes.

There were no immediate reports of serious injuries.

The two right lanes were blocked as police responded and crews worked to clear the damaged vehicles.

Northbound traffic was backed up approaching the scene, leading to a significant delay at the beginning of the morning rush hour.
