HOCKESSIN, Del. (WPVI) -- Two vehicles collided in Hockessin, New Castle County Thursday morning, sending two people to the hospital.

Delaware State Police were called to the scene just after 9:00 a.m. on Lancaster Pike near Brackenville Road.

A 48-year-old male driver of a work truck was treated for multiple lacerations, abrasions and a leg injury.

He was transported to Christiana Hospital where he was listed in stable condition.

A 52-year-old woman was also transported to Christiana Hospital for evaluation of back pain. She also was listed in stable condition

Officials say another vehicle was also involved in the crash.

The area of Lancaster Pike where the accident happened was closed for over an hour so police could investigate and crews could clear the scene.

There is no word from yet what led to the crash.
