A ground stop is now in effect at Philadelphia Int'l Airport.

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A ground stop was in effect at Philadelphia International Airport, but has since been lifted.

That meant flights trying to get to Philadelphia were delayed at various airports.

At least 50 flights have been canceled, and several others delayed.

Airport officials are urging passengers to call their carriers for flight information.

SEPTA has weather-related detours in effect for bus routes 18, 24, 42, K, R, H and XH.

The Pennsylvania Turnpike temporarily lowered the speed limit on the entire toll road system.

Speeds were reduced to 45 mph, but are back to normal on all Pennsylvania Turnpike sections.
