Airbnb cancels reservations in Va. town ahead of white supremacist rally
Airbnb cancels reservations in Va. town ahead of white supremacist rally: Alicia Vitarelli reports during Action News at 4:30 p.m. on August 8, 2017.

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (WPVI) -- Airbnb is now canceling reservations and deactivating accounts for some people making reservations in one town in Virginia.

The cancellations come about thanks to a flyer circulating social media for a white supremacist rally in Charlottesville on Sunday.

Airbnb says if it suspects you're booking a home to host gatherings related to the rally, you better rethink your plans.

People associated with the Unite the Right rally have been posting images of their cancellation letters.

They say were told their reservation violated terms of service.

Airbnb says it has a community commitment with a mission of belonging and anyone planning to use booked properties for activities viewed as unethical will get canceled.

Unite the Right is now threatening to sue Airbnb.
