Woman protests overcrowded Toronto bus
Woman protests overcrowded Toronto bus. Tamala Edwards reports during Action News at 4:30 a.m. on November 16, 2017.

A woman in Toronto staged a slow-moving protest after she wasn't able to get on an overcrowded bus.

The woman walked in the roadway, directly in front of the bus, even changing lanes to block it.

The protest lasted for several minutes.

A spokeswoman for the Toronto Transit Commission applauded the driver and the protester for staying calm.

But she said it would be safer to call or tweet complaints.
