2 triple shootings in 2 days on same Wilmington block

WILMINGTON, Del. (WPVI) -- Police are investigating the second triple shooting on a Wilmington block in a matter of days.

It happened around 1:30 p.m. Sunday in the 200 block of North Broom Street.

Officers arrived to find three victims suffering from one gunshot wound each.

A 15-year-old victim was shot in the arm, a 18-year-old victim was shot in the lower body and a third victim was shot in the back.

The victims were taken to Wilmington and Christiana hospitals in stable condition.

Three teenagers were also shot on the same block on Friday. One of the victims in that shooting died, the other two were hospitalized in stable condition.

No word if the incidents are connected.
