Ursinus College breaks ground on Innovation and Discovery Center

COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. (WPVI) -- Ursinus College took the first step Friday night toward a new era in science and research.

The school broke ground on a $29 million Innovation and Discovery Center.

The 42,000-square-foot facility will house classrooms and labs.

The new IDC will merge science, entrepreneurship and policy to create jobs of the future.

The facility is set to open in 2018.
