Judge allows Joey Merlino to be "Best Man" while awaiting trial

BOCA RATON, Fla. -- Reputed Mob Boss Joey Merlino asked a New York judge to let him stand as best man at the wedding of a Philadelphia attorney.
Merlino is living in Boca Raton, Florida and awaiting trial on racketeering charges.
Merlino's co-defendant was also invited to the wedding in Florida.
The two have a no-contact order.
The judge allowed Merlino to go to the ceremony only.
His co-defendant, Anthony Cirillo, is allowed to attend the reception.
