Coast Guard suspends search for missing boaters off Brigantine, N.J.

BRIGANTINE, N.J. (WPVI) -- The search has been suspended for at least three boaters who were reported missing off the coast of Brigantine, New Jersey.

They went missing Friday evening, about a half mile off the coastline.

The Coast Guard received word just before 6 p.m. that a fishing boat had capsized, tossing several people into the water.

But the initial search yielded no sightings of the people who were on board.

Meanwhile, Brigantine police say they've checked in with local boat ramps, parking lots and fishing piers, but everyone who went out from those locations is accounted for.
