Dramatic video shows strangers rushing to save a couple trapped under a burning tanker truck in New York.

The crash happened along Route 17 in Goshen on Sunday afternoon.

State police said a tire blew on Carmin and Alejandro Rivera's Subaru.

The out-of-control car slid under a tanker and caught fire.

Several people who witnessed the crash ran across the highway to help the couple.

The couple is now recovering in the hospital.
