VINELAND, N.J. (WPVI) -- A New Jersey police officer is under investigation for tactics he used during an arrest earlier this month that left a man hospitalized.

The Cumberland County prosecutor's office released bodycam video of the incident on Monday.

The video shows Vineland officers responding to Inspira Medical Center on January 12 for a report of a domestic violence incident in the parking lot.

When officers arrived, they found an intoxicated man who was still drinking.

The man's family has identified him as 60-year-old Bill Oslin.

Action News spoke to his girlfriend who said there was no domestic violence. Instead, she said, she was bringing him to the hospital to detox before going to rehab.

An officer can be heard telling Oslin on the video, "The very least, you're going to get a summons for public intoxication."

In the video, Oslin can be seen talking on the phone. He said he was speaking to a friend who was urging him to get sober.

After talking to the officer for about seven minutes, authorities say Oslin started walking towards a woman and a security guard with clenched fists.

The videos shows an officer take Oslin down to the ground and cuff him. Authorities say the officer who forced Oslin down is the one under investigation.

Blood could be seen on the sidewalk under Oslin's head. He was taken to Cooper University Hospital for treatment.

Right after the incident, Action News spoke with his daughter Anastasia Oslin who said her father suffered a fractured skull. She called for the bodycam footage to be released.

"The cop was wearing the body camera, so I want to see this footage that they have," said Anastasia Oslin. "What was the real story and why they needed to have so much force on him."

Following the release of the video, we reached out to Bill Oslin's family, some of whom say they have seen the bodycam footage, but they did not want to comment on it.

Oslin remains in the hospital.
