1 dead, 1 injured in Voorhees crash

VOORHEES, N.J. -- One driver is dead and another injured after a crash in Voorhees, New Jersey.

It happened around 7:00 p.m. Wednesday near East Evesham Road and Brendenwood Drive.

Police say two vehicles collided and went off the roadway. One of the cars also struck a tree.

One driver was pronounced dead at the hospital.

The other driver was taken to Cooper Medical Center for head injuries. No word on a condition.

Police say there were no passengers in either vehicle.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
