PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Wahlburgers, the burger chain located in the Northern Liberties section of Philadelphia, will be closing for good.
"Our franchise partner has closed the Wahlburgers Philadelphia restaurant. While we will miss serving each and every one of our guests in the Philadelphia area, we look forward to welcoming Wahlburgers fans at any of our 32 locations across the US, UK and Canada," said the company in a statement to Action News.
Last week, the business cited a plumbing problem and vowed to reopen.
Wahlburgers opened on N. 2nd Street in the heart of Northern Liberties back in 2016.
The company is founded by executive chef Paul Wahlberg and his brothers, Mark and Donnie.
