2017 6abc Thanksgiving Day Parade Watch and Win Rules
I. NAME OF SPONSOR(S)
WPVI-TV, ABC, Inc. ("6abc"), 4100 City Line Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19131 (Hereinafter collectively referred to as "Sponsor").
II. ELIGIBILITY
Entrants must be legal residents of Delaware, New Jersey and Pennsylvania, 18 years of age or older at time of entry (20 years of age for car rental in the VISIT FLORIDA Vacation Package prize).
Any individuals (including but not limited to employees, consultants, independent contractors, and interns) who have, within the past six months, performed services for WPVI-TV, ABC, Inc., any organizations responsible for sponsoring, fulfilling, administering, advertising or promoting the sweepstakes or supplying the prize, and/or their respective parent, subsidiary, affiliated and successor companies, and immediate family and household members of such individuals, are not eligible to enter or play. "Immediate family members" shall mean parents, step-parents, children, step-children, siblings, step-siblings, or spouses. "Household members" shall mean people who share the same residence at least three months a year.
III. HOW AND WHEN TO ENTER
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. There will be three (3) opportunities for a chance to win.
To enter, watch the 6ABC Thanksgiving Day Parade coverage between 9:00 a.m. and 12:00 Noon ET on Thursday, November 23, 2017 and look for each of the three (3) keywords to be displayed. Within two (2) minutes of each keyword being displayed, text it to 55678. The winner will be notified at the phone number used to submit their entry and will be announced on the broadcast. Entrants who do not win can enter by submitting the next keyword within the specified time. Sponsor's computer is the official clock for the receipt of entries. Entries will not be acknowledged.
Only texts to the specified number can win. Standard carrier-messaging and data charges may apply to each text message sent and received. All text entrants must have a text message two-way capable phone and digital and SMS service in order to enter using the text messaging method. Text messaging may not be available in all areas. By entering via text message, Entrant grants Sponsor consent: (1) to text the cell phone used an acknowledgement message; and (2) to call your cell should you be selected as a potential winner. Please consult your carrier for applicable charges.
If for any reason the sweepstakes is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or other causes that corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the sweepstakes, Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the sweepstakes. No responsibility is assumed for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, entries; or any problems or technical malfunctions of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems, servers, or providers, computer equipment, software, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to entrant's or any other person's computer related to or resulting from participation in or downloading any materials from this sweepstakes. Except as otherwise contemplated by these Rules, and to the extent entrants may otherwise elect at the time of Entry, information provided by you for these Sweepstakes is subject to Sponsor's privacy policy located at https://disneyprivacycenter.com/privacy-policy-translations/english ("Privacy Policy").
IV. HOW AND WHEN WINNERS WILL BE SELECTED AND NOTIFIED
POTENTIAL WINNER SELECTION: One Grand Prize Winner will be selected at random on November 23, 2017 from all valid entries received at the specified text number or email address within two (2) minutes of each of the three (3) keywords being displayed.
POTENTIAL WINNER NOTIFICATION: Potential winners will be notified during the 6abc Thanksgiving Day Parade broadcast and at the phone number they used to submit their entry.
Limit one prize per winner for this sweepstakes. Odds of winning depend on number of valid entries received.
Final determination of winner is always conditional on verification of eligibility and compliance with all rules and procedures. If the actual value of the prize is less than stated ARV, the difference will not be awarded.
V. PRIZES
The Grand Prize Winner for each of the three (3) keywords sweepstakes will be awarded one of the following prizes:
1. One (1) Grand Prize Winner will receive Dunkin' Donuts coffee for one year. The prize will be awarded in the amount of $575 in Dunkin' Donuts gift cards. (Approximate Retail Value: $575). Gift cards have no expiration date. Gift cards will be mailed to the winner one (1) week after Affidavit of eligibility, indemnification and release and tax forms are received. Prize does not include any taxes or gratuities or other expenses.
2. One (1) Grand Prize winner will receive ten (10) Mid-level End Zone seat tickets (M13, Row 5) to the Philadelphia Eagles vs. Raiders Game on Monday, December 25 at Lincoln Financial Field and a Dunkin' Donuts sponsored Tailgate. (Approximate Retail Value/Game tickets: $1,000). (Approximate Retail Value/Dunkin' Donuts Tailgate: $250). The Winner has two options for claiming the Dunkin' Donuts Tailgate prize: Option 1: Dunkin' Donuts delivery of Dunkin' Donuts products to the chosen location at Lincoln Financial Field (Approximate Retail Value: $250); OR Option 2: Winner can receive ten (10) $25 Dunkin' Donuts Gift Cards for each game attendee (Approximate Retail Value: $250). Please note that tickets will be mailed to winner prior to the game. Prize does not include any taxes or gratuities or other expenses such as parking, food and beverage that is provided beyond the prize packet. (Total Prize Value: $1,250).
3. One (1) Grand Prize winner will receive a VISIT FLORIDA vacation for six (6) to St. Pete Beach, Florida. Grand Prize includes round-trip coach class air transportation for six from nearest major commercial airport to the home of the winner to Tampa, FL (ARV: $2,250); two six-day full-size car rentals (ARV: $600); five nights' accommodations in two-bedroom suite at The Don Cesar (ARV: $4,000); and a kayak tour for six through the Shell Key Preserve in Pinellas County with Island Kayak Tours (ARV $150). (Total Approximate Retail Value: $7,000). Certificates will be valid for twelve months from the end of the promotion (November 23, 2018) and may include traditional blackout periods. Redemption instructions will accompany all certificates. Minimum age to book accommodations is 18. Minimum age to book car rental is 20. Prizes are non-transferable, cannot be sold or gifted, may not be redeemed for cash, and will not be replaced if lost or stolen. Extensions to expiration dates will not be granted. Prize packages do not include travel to the departure airport or to the hotel (except as specifically included), meals (except as specifically included), incidentals, tips, telephone calls, airline baggage fees, or any other personal expenses incurred during the winner's stay. Airline and schedule are at the sole discretion of VISIT FLORIDA. Non-stop service may not be offered. Prize winner must be one of the passengers booked in the travel party. Winner and guest(s) must have all necessary photo identification and/or travel documents required for travel.
II. VI. RELEASES
By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these official rules and the decisions of the Sponsor/Judges and the sweepstakes administrator, which shall be final in all respects.
By participating in this sweepstakes and accepting any prize that they may win, entrants agree to release WPVI-TV, ABC, Inc., Dunkin Donuts, VISIT FLORIDA, their parent, subsidiary, affiliated and successor companies, advertising and promotion agencies and prize suppliers, and each of their respective officers, directors, agents, representatives and employees, as well as each of their respective successors, representatives and assigns (collectively, the "Released Parties") from any and all actions, claims, injury, loss or damage arising in any manner, directly or indirectly, from participation in this sweepstakes and/or acceptance or use of the prize.
Entrants authorize the Released Parties to use their name, voice, likeness, biographical data, city and state of residence and entry materials in programming or promotional material, worldwide in perpetuity, or on a winner's list, if applicable, without further compensation unless prohibited by law. Sponsor is not obligated to use any of the above mentioned information or materials, but may do so and may edit such information or materials, at Sponsor's sole discretion, without further obligation or compensation.
To claim prize, (a) winner must provide proof of age, identity and residency, (b) winner must sign and return affidavit of eligibility/compliance with rules, publicity/liability release and indemnification, and (c) winner's intended guest(s) or travel companion(s), if any, must sign liability/publicity release, all within the time period specified by Sponsor.
At the sole discretion of the Sponsor, disqualification, forfeiture and the selection of an alternate winner may result from any of the following: (1) potential winner's failure to respond to notification within seven (7) business days after its transmission; (2) the return of an email notification or text as undeliverable after three (3) attempts; (3) potential winner's failure to provide Sponsor with satisfactory proof of age, identity and residency; (4) potential winner's failure to execute and return an Affidavit of Eligibility/Liability/Publicity Release within seven (7) business days after it is mailed; (5) potential winner's failure to validly claim any prize within ten (10) days after it is sent; and (6) any other non-compliance with Rules. In the event of a prize forfeiture, the Sponsor may, in its sole discretion, award or not award the forfeited prize to an alternate winner.
VII. MISCELLANEOUS; WINNERS' LIST
Void where prohibited. All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply.
Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process and to cancel, terminate, modify and/or suspend the contest in the event of tampering or other circumstances, including but not limited to acts of God or civil disturbance that render it impractical or impossible to complete or fulfill the contest as originally planned.
