5 Delaware teens suffer heat exhaustion at football game

Five students were taken to the hospital after suffering heat exhaustion at a football game in Wilmington, Delaware.

WILMINGTON, Del. (WPVI) -- Five students were taken to the hospital after suffering heat exhaustion at a football game in Wilmington, Delaware.

It happened around 1 p.m. Saturday at the Baynard Stadium, located on the 1700 block of Stadium Drive.

The kids were watching a game between Delaware Military Academy and Charter School of Wilmington when the heat got the best of them.

Some of the other students had to helped by their parents.

All the teens are expected to be OK.
