PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- SUNDAY (FATHER'S DAY): It's a partly sunny day, but it's hot and once again humid. The forecast high is 90 degrees with an afternoon stray thunderstorm around. Sunday also marks the official arrival of summer at 11:32pm.
MONDAY: Dewpoints rise even higher on Monday making for an oppressively humid day. Temperatures rise to 91 so it will feel steamy. If we hit 90 on Sunday, this would mark the third straight day in the 90, making it our second heat wave of the season. It will be partly sunny and breezy at times with a gusty thunderstorm possible in the evening.
TUESDAY: A cold front approaches and we will start with humid conditions and some some steady showers or thunderstorms at times. It's not as warm and the humidity may drop late behind the frontal boundary. High: 82.
WEDNESDAY: High pressure moves in behind the cold front and sets us up for a beautiful string of days. We'll have sunny skies and low humidity. High: 77.
THURSDAY: The more comfortable weather pattern continues with a sunny, nice day and a high of 82.
FRIDAY: Sun will mix with a few clouds, high 84.
SATURDAY: We'll see more clouds than sun with the chance of a shower or thunderstorm, high 86.
