AccuWeather: Thanksgiving is beginning wet, ending nice

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Pockets of heavy rain will pass through the region during the morning and a few spots could even get a rumble of thunder. After that, the day becomes progressively drier and some late afternoon sunshine is likely. The high is a mild 65.

TONIGHT: Look for mostly cloudy skies, dry conditions and a low of 48.

FRIDAY: This will be a much better day for outdoor social-distanced get-togethers. Look for a partly sunny, tranquil day with sunrise temperatures in the upper 40s followed by a pleasant afternoon high of 62.

SATURDAY: The weekend begins with a mainly sunny day, some occasional scattered clouds and a cooler high of 55.

SUNDAY: Early sun gives way to some clouds during the afternoon, but we remain dry. The high drops to 53.

MONDAY: After a cloudy start, rain moves in during the afternoon and evening, along with gusty winds. Rain could be heavy at times, depending on the track of our latest storm with a few rumbles of thunder not out of the question. The high is 58.

TUESDAY: An early shower can't be ruled out, but overall, this is a day of improvement. Clouds will mix with some sunny breaks during the afternoon with a high of 54.

WEDNESDAY: This is a brisk and chilly, but seasonable day with sunshine and a high of just 44.

THURSDAY: It's partly sunny with a seasonably chilly high of 44.
