CENTER CITY (WPVI) -- There was no shortage of people outdoors, all soaking up the sun on this picture perfect Saturday.

The hot weather had people breaking into salsa dances and soccer moves on the Art Museum steps today.

Come mid-week the temperatures are expected to spice up and steam up with predictions in the mid nineties

William Naignan of West Philadelphia said, "Its perfect weather, 70 and sunny, you can't get better than that."

That meant it was time for a little one on one on the basketball court in Fitler Square and time for picnics and sunbathing too.

"It's not too humid yet, it's just nice and sunny we were laying on the grass a bit," said Jessica Persicketti of Center City.

At the Schuylkill River dog run, the doggie pool is full and ready for our furry friends to get some relief.

Burnese Mountain dog owners know the drill about keeping pets safe, and are already preparing for the dog days of summer.

"Taking him for shorter walks, and making sure we both stay hydrated," Katherine Sarasohn of Fitler Square said.
