WILMINGTON, Del. (WPVI) -- Police say a 3-year-old girl was rescued from a hot car in Wilmington, Delaware on Tuesday, in an incident that appears to be accidental.

It happened in the 100 block of Greer Ave.

Investigators say it appears the child followed older siblings when they went out to play and somehow got into a neighbor's unlocked car.

The parents noticed almost immediately and called police. Investigators believe the child was in the car less than 10 minutes.

The child was reported to be short of breath and sweating. The outside temperature was about 85 degrees at the time.

The child was taken to the hospital for evaluation.

No charges will be filed.
