The Solar Impulse aircraft traveled over 500 days and 25,000 miles, despite a few setbacks along the way. "It reached Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates, where the journey started in March 9, 2015," according to AccuWeather.

The flight was a "tremendous technological achievement," AccuWeather said, and shows the true power and possibilities of solar energy in the future.
