The Veterans Parade & Festival hits the streets of Philadelphia in a packed weekend.

Matt O'Donnell zips around the region highlighting some top activities for all ages.

VETERANS PARADE & FESTIVAL

Philadelphia honors America's bravest with the Veterans Parade and Festival. It will be held Sunday from noon-4 p.m. The parade route begins at JFK Boulevard and N. 16th Street and ends at 5th and Market streets, where the Veteran's Festival will take place. It will feature live music, food trucks, a beer garden, a rock-climbing wall and children's activities. PARADE INFO

APPLE FESTIVAL IN PEDDLER'S VILLAGE

It's all about apples in Bucks County. Peddler's Village is holding its 44th Annual Apple Festival on Saturday and Sunday. You can find fresh-baked apple goods, handcrafted works and even an apple pie eating contest. All attractions and food are pay as you go. APPLE FEST INFO

DAY OF THE DEAD

Halloween has come and gone, but you still have a chance to attend the annual Day of the Dead Celebration in Princeton, New Jersey. The free event is happening from 3-5 p.m. Saturday at the Princeton Shopping Center Courtyard at 301 N. Harrison Street. The Mexican celebration will feature strolling mariachis, sugar skull decorating and live dance performances. EVENT INFO

SIXERS, FLYERS & EAGLES ALL IN ACTION AT HOME

There is a home sports game every day this weekend. The 76ers host the Indiana Pacers on Friday night. The Colorado Avalanche are in town to face the Flyers on Saturday night. And the Denver Broncos (3-4) play the 7-1 Eagles at the Linc on Sunday afternoon.

'PHANTOM OF THE OPERA'

Andrew Lloyd Webber's "The Phantom of the Opera" has taken the stage at the Academy of Music. Performances of the beloved story and thrilling score run through November 12th. SHOW TICKETS

CLOVER MARKET IN BRYN MAWR

The Clover Market returns to Bryn Mawr for the final time this year. It features high-end antiques, crafts, jewelry, clothing, soaps and vintage goods. The market runs 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Sunday at 7 N. Bryn Mawr Avenue. CLOVER MARKET
