Worker injured in fall in West Kensington

WEST KENSINGTON (WPVI) -- Philadelphia police and rescue crews responded to the scene of where a worker was injured in a fall in the city's West Kensington section Tuesday evening.

It happened shortly after 5 p.m. along the 2800 block of B Street.

Authorities say a man fell from an upper floor area to the basement of a vacant home.

First responders managed to gain access to the home and remove the injured man.

So far, no word on the severity of his injuries.
