Man wounded in daytime shooting in West Philadelphia

WEST PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Police are investigating a daytime shooting in West Philadelphia that left one man wounded.

It happened around 4:00 p.m. Friday at 56th and Harmer streets.

The victim, a man in his 40s, was shot twice in the leg.

He was rushed to Penn-Presbyterian Hospital for treatment. No word on his condition.

Police have not named a motive or any possible suspects.
