Man wounded in West Philadelphia shooting

WEST PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Police say a man was shot and wounded in West Philadelphia Thursday night.

The shooting happened around 10:00 p.m. near 56th and Lansdowne Avenue.

The unidentified victim was shot in the back, police say.

He was rushed to Penn Presbyterian Hospital for treatment. He is listed in stable condition.

So far, there is no word on a suspect or motive.
