Whitehall Township, Pennsylvania Walmart evacuated due to possible threat

WHITEHALL TOWNSHIP, Pennsylvania (WPVI) -- A shopping center in Whitehall Township, Pennsylvania was briefly evacuated due to a possible threat on Thursday evening.

It happened at a Walmart located at 2601 MacArthur Road in Whitehall Township.

Allentown Fire Captain John Christopher said the bomb squad was investigating a possible threat which forced shoppers to clear the parking lot.

Whitehall police tell WFMZ the search of the premises revealed no threat.
