5-year contract extension approved for Hite

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- The School Reform Commission approved a 5-year contract extension for Superintendent William Hite.

Action on Hite's employment status came during a packed SRC Meeting Thursday night as parents and community members were there to address a number of issues.

Hite's contract will extend through Aug. 31, 2022, at his current salary, with increases to match wage hikes for teachers.
