Man critical after Wilmington shooting

WILMINGTON, Del. (WPVI) -- A 28-year-old man is fighting for his life after being shot several times in Wilmington, Delaware.

Police received several calls around 11 p.m. Wednesday that shots were fired near 8th and Spruce streets.

Officers arrived to find a man with several gunshot wounds at 7th and Pine streets.

He was rushed to Christiana Hospital in critical condition.

Police marked off at least six shell casings at the scene.

So far, there are no arrests or word on a motive.
