Police investigate double shooting in Wilmington

WILMINGTON, Del. (WPVI) -- Two males were shot and wounded in Wilmington, Delaware Wednesday evening.

It happened after 7:30 p.m. along the 2900 block of Bowers Street.

Police responded after reports of shots being fire at that location.

They arrived to find two males lying on the street.

One victim was taken by medics, and the other by helicopter to Christiana Hospital.

Police say there were more than hundred people in the area, but none claim to have seen the shooting.
