A train derailment causing traffic problems in Delaware.

WILMINGTON, Del. (WPVI) -- Four cars derailed from a freight train that was travelling from Pennsylvania to Delaware.

It happened around 1:55 p.m. Friday near Lancaster Pike and DuPont Road.

Authorities say the East Penn Railway train left from Coatesville, Chester County.

It was carrying a total of 14 cars at the time, 12 were empty and two were loaded with steel.

As the train was travelling through Wilmington, four of the cars derailed from the tracks.

Fortunately no one was injured.

Officials have not determined a cause.
