Man hospitalized after Wissinoming collision

WISSINOMING (WPVI) -- An early morning two-car crash in the Wissinoming section of Philadelphia has seriously injured one of the drivers.

The accident occurred around 1:25 a.m. Sunday on the 5700 block of Tacony Street.

One of the drivers, described as a man in his 30s, was thrown from his car.

He is being treated at Aria Health Torresdale for several significant injuries.

The other driver sustained minor injuries.

Police are investigating.
