SOUTH PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- An 83-year-old woman has died after being struck by a car in South Philadelphia.
It happened shortly before 6:30 a.m. Friday near the intersection of 24th Street and Washington Avenue.
Police say the woman was crossing Washington Avenue in the crosswalk when she was first hit by a white Chevy Cruze.
Then an SUV came along, hitting the woman a second time.
The victim died on the scene from her injuries.
Both drivers are cooperating with police.
No charges have been filed, but the investigation continues.
