Woman injured in house fire in Manayunk

MANAYUNK (WPVI) -- A woman was injured after a small house blaze in Philadelphia's Manayunk section Saturday morning.

The fire broke out around 9:00 a.m. on the 100 block of Jamestown Street.

The blaze was in the kitchen and was placed under control when Firefighters arrived.

A 60-year-old woman was taken to Temple University Hospital for smoke inhalation.

She was unstable as medics took her to the hospital.

There is no word on what sparked the blaze.
