Woman critical after Kensington shooting

KENSINGTON (WPVI) -- A woman is hospitalized after being shot in the head Philadelphia's Kensington section.

It happened around 8:20 p.m. Monday in front of a home on the 300 block of East Somerset Street.

Police say a 37-year-old woman suffered a gunshot wound to the head.

Responding officers transported the woman to Temple University Hospital where she is critical.

No suspects have been arrested.
