Woman shot, killed in North Philadelphia; suspect sought

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Police are searching for the person who shot and killed a 23-year-old woman Sunday night in North Philadelphia.

The unidentified victim was shot at least once in the chest on the 2500 block of North Alder Street right around 4:20 p.m.

She was taken to Temple University Hospital but died a short time later.

So far, no word on a possible motive.
